This morning my dad took my mom to the ER because of stomach bleeding and excessive vomiting (see http://afloridianinutah.blogspot.com/ )
UPDATE:
Four liters of fluid were pumped into her when she first arrived, so her face and joints are all swollen. She had two blood transfusions and a thing of platelets done today. Tonight they plan on doing another because her count's only at 5,000. That's the lowest it's ever been. After a CT scan, they did what they call a Scope to find out where the blood is coming from. Turns out the tube that they put into her intestines a couple weeks ago that has to loop in her stomach has rubbed against the lining of the stomach and ulcers have formed. These ulcers are what has caused the bleeding, but they have been cauterized and she's now hooked to a catheter, oxygen, and many other drugs. My dad says they'll probably keep her in the hospital for another couple of days.
I'll keep you posted.
