It's really interesting how friends lives correlate in many more ways than we thought. Several friends' blogs have been talking about the same stuff that mine has lately. We all had our sad posts, but now we have learned how important Christ is in our lives to a more full extent.
Today, I went into my family relations class 20 minutes early, sat down, ready to learn something new, when I had this feeling that there was something greater for me to learn today. Through a recently befriended person, I've realized that my struggle in life was because of my need for more spiritual enlightenment. So, what a better thing to fill my day with than the gospel of Christ? So, I went to my friend's institute class called 'Parables of Jesus' instead of family relations. We learned about the parable of the great supper as taught in Luke 14:12-24. We cannot make excuses to not come unto Christ, or not make ourselves more like Him. The things I learned today are just the things I needed to hear. I want to make myself better, and it's going to happen differently than I'd originally thought... sounds like life, eh?
