After almost a year of searching on and off, I finally have a job! I was so desperate that I even applied at McDonald's and guess what, that's where I'm going to work... haha! Despite the stress of school, I've going in for follow-up after follow-up, and apparently my persistence paid off.
So, you're probably wondering why I'm so excited to get working... at McDonald's nonetheless. I'm sick of bumming money off my friends when we do frosty runs and I hate going shopping with my girlfriends because I'm always just window shopping. Teaching piano just wasn't cutting it, so I'm glad to have the opportunity to earn more money, because money is important to a college student. My friend's little brother works at this particular restaurant, and puts some good hours in, and therefore makes some good mulah. I think this will be a good first job, especially for the summer... which is a whole new story yet to begin :)
