Recently On the Mothership

Monday my mom couldn't get chemo because her  platelets are too low again. Bummer.

Tuesday she went in for a cat scan, to see if chemo's doing it's job, and we recently got the results. Nothing's changed. There's still as much cancer as there was before. There's no extra, but it's not any better either.
So what comes next? We'll find out on Monday whether they'll change treatments once again or what. With her throwing up more and more the past couple weeks, the doctors may also put a tube in her stomach to drain all that stuff out. Then she'll be on a liquid diet to give her stomach more of a break.

So we're all really disappointed here, but we're looking at the bright side. Chemo has been working somewhat, because she's still with us.
